Web Developer
Los Angelos
A Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining websites and web applications. They work with both frontend and backend technologies to ensure sites are responsive, functional, and optimised. Their work often involves translating designs into code, integrating APIs, and ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
What you’ll do
Website Development: Own the development of high-performance, responsive websites using modern web technologies. You'll work on everything from landing pages to dynamic web apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
Frontend Excellence: Bring designs to life with clean, efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI that meets both aesthetic and performance standards.
Backend Integration: Work with APIs, CMS platforms, and databases to ensure content and data flow smoothly throughout the site. Optimise for speed, SEO, and scalability.
Site Optimisation: Monitor and improve site performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, marketers, and product teams to launch new features, campaigns, and site iterations that support business goals.
What you’ll bring
A few years of experience building websites in a professional setting — ideally for digital products, e-commerce, or high-growth companies.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or headless CMSs (e.g., Sanity, Contentful).
Familiarity with web performance optimisation, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
A collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
